So, the thumbnails are all in landscape orientation, even if the photos are in vertical orientation? On the one hand, it’s nice for uniformity on the gallery page. But sometimes (e.g. ginger mint julep) I actually like the thumbnail better… sort of anticlimax.
Yeah- can’t control how the thumbnails display in this software I don’t think. (Maybe with a lot of struggle but since the site is really just for me I doubt I will spend the time… Again, will keep that sort of thing in mind for the main site though!) Aside from that, interesting cropping comment on that one! I haven’t really re-thought those since I started working on other things!
I agree about the cropping idea for the one called “Fire station”…I really like the middle section of the photo but the more empty top and bottom sort of take away from the cool middle part. On a totally different note, I couldn’t really tell what was in the photo called “Fryer” until I read the title…
My favourite is definitely “St. Louis Square”! I really like the perspective of it…it is just overall awesome
